Tragedy of tragedies

Today LBBA had to have his immunizations for 18 months. The baby who loves running around naked freaked out when he had to be weighted naked of course and spent the better part of his appointment throwing a huge fit about people touching him. This child loves strangers. Today not so much. So what does the Mother of the Year do... Take pictures while he is mildly happy because the nurses left the room.

On to lunch with two of my favorite people, Amber and Matt. :) I love them both very much and we had a joyous time laughing at my ham of a son mess around at Jimmy Johns and of course cover me with his food. Note to Jimmy Johns staff: I understand you are not a kids restaurant but would it kill you to have booster seats? Maybe some very short individual wants to come eat and they will have to embarrass themselves by asking you to use your phone book or something silly like that. Invest in one or two booster seats and make the world a better place. :) Here is one pic Amber captured of LBBA.

She has decided he is her new best friend and I have obviously been replaced. Fairs fair so now she can have best friend slumber parties with him. That's what best friends do right? Good luck with that Amber. ;)

Poor tired baby promptly fell asleep in the car. I was taken by surprise since he hates car rides in general. Just proves that fun times with Amber and Matt mixed with getting shots equals a very tired baby. Insert pic of sleepy baby in messy car...

Overall an interesting day. I can't wait for school to be out for Ky so she can join us in our fun excursions.

It's been awhile

Lots of fun things have been happening. I decided to move out of my tiny town to be closer to my family. They help me every day with the kids so in order to make life easier for them I am going to move close.

We went to a wedding two weeks ago. Congrats to my awesome divorce lawyer Andrew and his new wife Andrea. They both looked amazing. I only embarrassed myself once. That's a huge improvement for me. :) I was uncomfortable the whole time since I had to wear something other than jeans and a t-shirt/hoodie.

LBBA is back. He had been doing so well. Playing nicely with Ky and cuddling with mommy. That's over. He has started making crazy faces like this.

No longer cuddling. He now follows me around fake crying and saying bobby. His word for mommy. Fun times in our house. :)

I got to spend the whole weekend with my super handsome little brother. He even dressed up to go to dinner.

We had a blast playing video games and watching movies. It doesn't get much better than that.


Overall life has been amazing. Even if it is a little stressful.

Gotta add one of Ms. Ky. I woke up to her and the dog cuddle up to me. As soon as I got up to get around for the day she moved to my warm spot. :)

Overnight

Working an overnight tonight. Oh JOY!!. Let's use this time to play a little catch up. I'm Whitney. I'm 25. Kinda a rude and uncouth when I want to be otherwise I'm pretty mild mannered. I think work brings out the best and the worst in me. I work with delinquent and at risk kids. I love it but it doesn't pay worth a crap. I have two gorgeous babies. Ky my dolly. If she could sing and play dress up all day she would. Drama queen fits her to a T. She's beautiful and sweet. In first grade right now. Gage is my youngest. They are polar opposites. He is beautiful and rotten at the same time. He has no fear. Bumps and bruises constantly from going a mile a minute. Stubborn as hell. Just like me. Drama is his middle name along with angry. :) Life is a crazy mess most days. Some worse than others. It's my life though and I'm being to finally accept it at face value. :) I'm working on a divorce which is actually a good thing in our life. Don't get me wrong I loved him to death but sometimes people are just toxic together. He is an awesome person and tries to be the best dad possible. Questions? Just ask. There is a lot I don't have the patience to type on my phone at the moment. Night world! I'm going to try to stay awake so I can do my job :p

Not that girl...

It was brought to my attention recently that I'm not the type of girl you take home to your family. Why I asked myself and a few other people. General consensus is because I have kids. I find this amusing in this day and age. Not that I'm looking for someone to take me home. I've got that covered but in the past it has been in issue. I get it now. Makes me even prouder to be a single mom. I like doing things that make other people uncomfortable :p  That and I make beautiful babies.
